Galapagos Islands Cruises
Galapagos Islands CruisesGalapagos Islands CruisesGalapagos Islands CruisesGalapagos Islands CruisesGalapagos Islands Cruises
Cruise the Galapagos and refresh your spirit of exploration. Discover a world of enchanted volcanic islands with unique species of wildlife. The Galapagos Island is locates 1000 kilometers of the coast of Ecuador. The islands first appeared on maps in about 1570 in those drawn by Abraham Ortelius and Mercator. The islands were called "Insulae de los Galapagos" (Islands of the Tortoises). The Islands are distributed to the north and south of the equator. The equator crosses the northern part of the largest island, Isabella. A cruise to the Galapagos will show you a home to many unique, ancient animals, most of which are fearless due to the lack of natural predators. One of the best known is the Galapagos giant tortoise that has evolved into fourteen distinct forms on the different islands of the archipelago. Among the ancient sea birds are a flightless cormorant, two species of gull, and the only Galapagos penguin species, which lives in tropical waters. The waved albatross breeds solely on Espanola Island, while colonies of blue-footed, red-footed, and masked boobies are found alongside frigate birds. The Galapagos Islands are one of the most remote diving areas on the earth. The Galapagos island archipelago gathered a very impressive water conditions created by the converging of different oceanic current that full fill the island of rich biodiversity. Diving in the Galapagos Island will offer you what could be your best diving experience. The Galapagos islands have 2 seasons the Hot season (December to April) and the Dry season (May to November). The surface water temperature is 22° C - 26° C during the Hot season, and 18° C - 22° C during the Dry season. Taking a cruise to the Galapagos could be one of the most fulfilling experiences of your life.
